Sebastian Bott (DE) 3 months 2 weeks 1 day sill no delivery of my Iphone 14 pro (#35199)
I would like to once again recount my extremely frustrating and disappointing experience with phonesrefurb.com. To this day, after more than 3 months, 2 weeks, and 1 day, I have neither received my ordered product nor a refund. I hope phonesrefurb will promptly refund my money, as I am entitled to it according to their own FAQ: “The following conditions apply to cancellations of orders: Your order has not shipped within 14 business days.”
• On July 8, 2024, I ordered an iPhone 14 Pro (Order #35199) for €645.93, with a promised delivery by July 18, 2024.
• On July 18, I received a response from infoatphonesrefurb.com, informing me that I would receive tracking information within 72 hours.
• Four days later, on July 22, there were still no tracking details. On July 24, I followed up and received no response.
• On July 31, I contacted support again via Facebook. They promised that the team would resolve the issue. I was also assured that the negative reviews on Trustpilot were “nonsense.”
• Instead of a solution, they sent me three different tracking numbers that had nothing to do with my order and referred me to serviceatphonesrefurb.com.
• That same day, July 31, a person named Jamie promised me they would resolve the issue within two days. If I didn’t hear back by then, I was to reach out again.
• On August 1, Jamie reached out again, asking me to wait. He advised me not to trust the reviews on Trustpilot.
• After following up again on August 5, since I had received no response, I was promised the team would contact me within a day. This never happened.
• On August 8, I made it clear that I expected a solution soon, or I would be forced to leave a negative review. In response, I was told that a solution was “coming soon,” but I was also advised to “Please disregard any concerns from review sites. I recommend exercising caution with them and acting in good faith, doing so is at your own accord and it may delay things.”
• J. emphasized in another email that their service did not depend on my review.
• On August 13, after 35 days of waiting, I received a response from C. stating that shipping was “being prepared soon.”
• On August 20 (42 days of waiting), I received a message from S. saying that they had identified the issue and would soon inform me about shipping. No further response followed.
• After several reminders on August 23, 26, and 28, I once again pointed out that I had been waiting for my iPhone for over 50 days.
• On August 29, I mentioned that I hadn’t heard from Steven in 9 days and was now considering legal action if I did not receive a solution.
• On August 30, Steve apologized for the delay and promised the package would be shipped the following Tuesday, and I would receive tracking information.
• On September 4, I reminded them that I had not received the tracking information promised for Tuesday.
• On September 6, I reminded them again that after 59 days, I still had not received my iPhone.
• On September 7, I only received an automatic reply stating that no one was available over the weekend.
• On September 20, I received a response saying that there were issues with the insurance, and thus they couldn’t offer a refund, even though the FAQ states a refund should be issued if not shipped within 14 days.
• On September 25, finally some hope, as they promised I would receive a text message with a tracking number.
• On September 26, I received the tracking number, but it only showed that the shipment was registered with Aramex in Dubai, not yet handed over to the courier. (As of today, the tracking number no longer exists…)
• On October 1, Phonesrefurb reassured me not to worry, saying the package would be moving the next day.
• On October 10, I received an email asking me to review my purchase on their website—LOL, what a joke!
• Several emails from me between October 10 and 11 went unanswered, allegedly because they didn’t receive them. However, my email stating that I would post a new review on Trustpilot did make it through their spam folder (?). They also said they would have updates soon…
• On October 15, another email went unanswered, but now they claim the shipment is in Germany (DE?). I was told to watch my phone and email, as I would receive a notification.
• October 22–24: No message, no response to my last email, no tracking number for the package supposedly in Germany for 9 days, no refund… Nothing. I expect a refund immediately! PayPal: [****].
